As the Body of Christ in the parish boundary including Brookland and surrounds, members of St. Anthony's have been given treasures and talents to be a sign of the Lord’s providence and the new life in the local community.

Parishioners are asked to prayerfully discern how they will offer their gifts and resources in the upcoming year. All parishioners are encouraged to give sacrificially, with the confidence that “the Lord will not be outdone in his generosity” (St. Teresa of Avila).  

Some Bible Verses Regarding Giving:
Acts 20:35 It is more blessed to give than to recieve
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you.  Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
Malachi 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house.  And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously
