A Sodality is a group of people with similar ideals, who are willing to work together in the service of Christ's Church and every area of life. The aim of each Sodalist is to love Jesus and His Blessed Mother through personal holiness, to love our neighbors through outreach as lay apostolates, to become Christ like, and to spread the faith.
There are all kinds of Sodalities (e.g., Professionals, seniors, Juniors, mixed groups, young and old, large and small). Each Sodality provides first, for the spiritual development of its members, and second, for participation in social affairs.
We are an organization that combines the extraordinary talents of ordinary people to create a deeper relationship with Jesus through Mary.
Our outreach encompasses many venues. We are involved in our school, local hospitals, nursing homes, Boy’s Town, and SOME. We care for our retired Sodalists with visits and greeting cards, cherishing their memory, and acknowledging their contributions.
We meet the first Sunday of each month either by Zoom or in the school cafeteria. We invite you to become a part of this dynamic force at St. Anthony’s church.
If you have questions regarding Sodality membership, please contact Thomasine Washington, Membership Chair, at 202-629-8765 or email [email protected].
