Gabriel Network has been helping women and children in Maryland and Washington, D.C. for more than 25 years. We are inspired by Christ to realize a culture of life through loving service to the women and families in our communities challenged with a crisis pregnancy.

MISSION
Gabriel Network empowers a committed network of Christian churches to accompany
pregnant mothers and families in need by providing practical, emotional, and spiritual
support through pregnancy and beyond. It realizes this mission through three programs: a
helpline, church-based ministry, and housing ministry.

ANGEL FRIENDS
At the heart of Gabriel Network’s ministry to pregnant women is a network of church-based
volunteers.  With the support of the whole church community, these trained “Angel Friends”
provide loving, personal, and long-term support to pregnant women in crisis situations. 
Currently more than 35 churches in Maryland and DC have Angel Friend teams.

 MORE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Gabriel Network also runs three maternity homes (in Gaithersburg, Bowie, and Ellicott City), a
Helpline, and an office in Crofton. Volunteers are welcomed for service in all these locations.
