For adults preparing to become catholic and receive sacraments

If you would like to speak to someone about where you are in your sacramental life, or if you are curious about the Catholic faith because you just want to know more without commitment, or even if you’ve been attending St. Anthony and would like to find out more. All are welcome to come and see, to ask questions, and to look more deeply, there is no commitment.

OCIA is a gradual process of Christian Initiation that takes place within the community of the faithful and is for all adults who:

1. are unbaptized and would like to be received fully into the Catholic Church through Baptism;
2. have been baptized in another Christian community and seek full reception into the Catholic Church;
3. have been baptized Catholic as infants but have not received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
If you would like to speak to someone about where you are in your sacramental life, or if you are curious about the Catholic faith because you just want to know more without commitment. All are welcome to come and see, to ask questions. Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) begins weekly September 27th, 2024 after the 10am Sunday Mass.

The OCIA is the process by which people can question, search, and inquire into the Catholic faith. It is a journey which leads many to seek full initiation in the Church. For others, this journey may not lead to full initiation. There is no set timetable, however, on average the process takes between eight to twelve months. Those who enter the process are asked to attend Mass on Sunday and attend a weekly OCIA session. Please contact Fr.
