St. Anthony's welcomes parishioners to share their gifts in music during our weekend Masses as members of the choir. We encourage all parishioners to prayerfully consider offering their musical talents to Jesus , either instrumentally or vocally, by playing or singing at one of the Masses.
We have two choirs, one traditional at the 10AM Sunday Mass, and a Gospel Choir at the 12PM Sunday Mass. To find out more about how to become involved in this powerful ministry, please contact Lynne Gray at 301-262-8153 or the Church office at 202-250-8208.
Youth/Young Adult Choir
Open to youth and young adults of high school and college age. Sings once a month, Mass times vary. Rehearsals twice a month on Thursday evenings. See parish calendar below for specific dates.
GOAL: To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community (Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry). More specifically, "to encourage youth involvement in the liturgical ministries, which is young people's right and duty by reason of their baptism" (From Age to Age: The Challenge of Worship with Adolescents).
